My background of Spiritual misdirection in a cultish church and sexual trauma at the hands of a member of that church have been a driving force in my God discovery. Why? Because healing can only come through His throne and I have six beautiful children and a husband of 35 years that are counting on me to take care of my emotional and spiritual self.
I could not let my past rob my family of the best of me. And I refused to allow my past church damage to stop me from God's call on my heart to Know Truth and be Sanctified through His Word (John 17).
When His throne feels like an electric fence - and our child brain tells us the Bible is a harsh weapon - it is time to dig in! Fight, God will help us stand and triumph.

God has held my mind together, (at one point through 40 days of mental help at Honey Lake Christian Center FL.) Flashbacks, nighmares, and restless sleep were not going to defeat me. Instead it propelled me to me to Rewire through decades of diligent study.
Who would guess that a child that was strongly discouraged from studying the Word would end up with a MDiv and become a teacher of the Bible to many.
Only by His grace and Power!

Let's be motivated to inspire the next generation to the true knowledge of God?
Is the Church we attend going to do a better job than the people who are in charge of their spiritual upbringing?
Do we want our spiritual baggage/misguidance to mold their impression of God?
We can Rewire so that these precious ones will value the Word and their place in His Covenantal promises.
​I have always felt a push in my ribcage and a hunger for healing so that the enemy can not continue to take from our family.
